Robert Half Finance has a terrific opportunity for a full-time Senior Accountant to join an innovative, growing company in the Los Angeles, California area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, SEC reporting, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Your responsibilities

• Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

• Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Partake in various department-wide initiatives

• Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

Requirements

• 3+ years of public audit experience is required

• Annual Financial Reporting experience desired

• Deep understanding of financial auditing

• Financial Statement Audits experience

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Vow to meet business deadlines

• Skilled at time management

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Be detailed, flexible, and organized

• Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

• Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

• Knowledgeable of ERP systems

• 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards
