Senior Business Analyst
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Provide financial planning and analysis for Originals PDX business to support the long-term strategy as well as short term business cases and tactical decisions ensuring profitable business and sustainable growth. Act as a financial consultant and business partner to the Originals PDX teams by creating transparency about business performance and giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Partner with Sr. Directors of Originals PDX in strategic planning and translating BU targets in seasonal and sub-category targets supporting strategic repositioning of the business
Provide financial knowledge to the Originals PDX teams and act as an interface between x-functional team (Marketing, Design, Development, Marketing Operations, CtC-Teams etc.) to drive alignment and to ensure smooth operation of the business.
Collaborate with Originals Finance team in Global HQ to drive strategic planning & smooth communication across locations.
Support and enhance SBP, Range Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes for the Originals PDX teams.
Create transparency on KPIs with respect to business plans (Net Sales, Volume, Margin) and implement adequate and aligned communication packages to present results, recommendations, and solutions
Actively support business cases for EIM (Entertainment & Influencer Marketing) asset evaluation
Implement state of the art analytical tools to improve processes e.g. planning, margin calculation, market analysis, Strategic Business Planning etc. This includes standard reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis
Constantly optimize day to day processes or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on the department targets. Work towards the achievement of department targets
Support of CtC team in strategic planning, the creation of category specific reporting and ad-hoc analyses
Manage medium sized projects and/or actively participate in projects, implement results, and ensure sustainability of achievements
Manage contractual Royalty commitments for Originals PDX & communicate Royalty statements & payments to external Partners
Sr. Director of Originals PDX and the respective Product Marketing Teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics in an international company and business environment
Proven proficiency with advanced data analytics, exploratory analysis and statistical methodologies, and data visualization
Excellent knowledge of product margin simulation and management
Strong MS Office competence, excellent Excel, PowerPoint, MicroStrategy, and SAP
Experience in project management
Self-starter that takes initiative, thinks beyond initial brief, and drives for results
Strong at prioritizing, managing, and completing projects under a deadline with accuracy
A team player and relationship builder that excels while working with diverse groups of people in an ambiguous environment
Intellectually curious with a bias for action
Fluency in written and spoken English
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling
3-5 years professional work experience in Finance department
