    Hardware

    • Experience in mechanical design (preferably internships or working experience in consumer electronics)

    • Demonstrated design ability in cosmetic and structural plastic and metal part components

    • Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing, with focus on high volume manufacturing

    • Experience presenting and communicating technical concepts, ideas, and solutions graphically

    • Fluency in Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software

    • Passion for making great products and solving tough design problems

    • Mechanical engineering degree; BSME or higher

    • The ability to travel internationally (20%+)

    • Beneficial qualifications

    • Experience with connector design, liquid and dust ingress protection, corrosion and/or signal integrity

    • Experience with inductive power transfer, coils and/or magnetic materials

    • Experience with permanent magnets, and magnet array designs

    • Experience working with overseas manufacturers

    • Mandarin language skills
