Responsible for activities relating to patient admissions referrals, benefits and medical/pharmacy authorizations.Collects demographic and insurance information for patients and acts as the primary contact for new and existing accounts. Collects co-pays and reviews benefit breakdown with patients. ? Communicates with medical professionals and insurance company personnel to expedite patient eligible into program.? Work with Medical and Pharmacy insurance, verifying active coverage, reviewing Home Infusion benefits?Completes data entry to ensure accuracy of reporting and outcomes.? Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum one year of related experience.? Strong service orientation and customer service attitude.? Effective verbal and written communications skills.? Excellent detail orientation and time management skills.? Proficiency with Microsoft business software
Insurance and Healthcare Experience
High School diploma or GED
