As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Oracle NetSuite is seeking a Principal Outbound Product Manager for CRM to continue the evolution of our CRM offerings. You will join our growing, international team as a CRM subject matter expert, keeping your finger on the pulse of the market and acting as the voice of Oracle NetSuite CRM to internal sales, marketing, and professional services teams, partners, and customers. In this role you will be working directly with the CRM product management team to help inform our product strategy decisions. You will also be collaborating with the broader CX and ERP teams to help drive research and go-to-market activities.
Subject matter expert - Be the expert on CRM buyers, who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria - with a focus on small and mid-sized businesses. Regularly provide these buyer insights and learnings to the product management, sales, and marketing teams.
Competitive market intelligence - Understand the competitive CRM landscape overall, and for our target segments. Know the competition and how they are positioned.
Product strategy support - Use your deep knowledge of the CRM buyer and market to contribute to and support NetSuite's CRM product strategy. Collaborate with CRM product leaders to build a roadmap that executes on that strategy.
Product positioning - Create compelling product positioning that differentiates NetSuite CRM in the market. Collaborate with product marketing to create messaging that aligns with that positioning. Ensure all communications, from PR to the website to sales conversations, are consistent and aligned with current product positioning.
Thought leadership - Act as the primary thought leader to the market for NetSuite CRM, including speaking engagements, events, and written works.
Go-To-Market - Support the launch of net-new products and releases of existing products and support the cross-functional execution of the plans with the implementation team.
Enablement - Partner with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Partner and Support teams to successfully roll out our products to the market. Work closely with Product Marketing as the CRM expert on messaging, go-to-market planning, sales training, internal and external collateral, and demand generation activities.
5 years of CRM Product Management or Product Marketing experience, or equivalent experience in solution consulting / pre-sales or implementation consulting.
Deep understanding of CRM in Retail, Distribution, and Manufacturing verticals
Self-starter who demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a global, fast-paced environment, collaborating with groups of subject matter experts (SME's) from multiple locations and time zones
Excellent (English) written and verbal communication skills are required
College degree required; MBA is a plus
Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate product functionality and requirements to colleagues, management, executives, and customers are required.
