  • Job Requisition ID # 23WD70371 Position Overview The Finance Change Management (CMO) team drives adoption across various programs at Autodesk in support of our overall strategic initiatives through stakeholder engagement, training, and communication to support adoption of a range of changes including changes to business processes, systems and technology, policy, job roles and organization structures. We are looking for an experienced training and instructional design professional with expertise in analyzing organizational change impacts, designing role-based curriculum and be responsible for creation, editing and publishing of training materials for multiple workstreams and project releases with overlapping priorities to join our Finance Change Management Office (CMO) team. This position is ideal for an experienced adult learning instructional designer who is a proactive learner, can take initiative, and build strong cross-functional relationships. An individual with strong Instructional design experience and proven writing skills, and a passion for creating and delivering engaging training materials for Finance business partners. They will have advanced skills in incorporating instructional design and development expertise using training content authoring tools to produce exceptional learning experiences. They will have a keen eye for converting organizational impacts and learning objectives into written documentation, self-directed/online courses, instructor-led courses, and training assessments to meet program objectives. Must be comfortable executing a complex set of fast-paced results in a collaborative, dynamic environment with a passionate extended team, both in person as well as virtually. Responsibilities + Hands on execution of tasks and multiple project deliverables in a fast-paced work environment + Ability to assimilate quickly and deal with ambiguity to complete deliverables on time + Analyzing training needs and requirements + Design curriculum, create/write, and publish training content and courses + Proactive research and learning of business requirements and solutions + Understand current learning needs and gaps to research, recommend, design, and implement training deliverables + Support Autodesk Finance Change Management Office (CMO) in the execution of end-to-end change management / training development and delivery activities + Establish strong working relationships and facilitate conversations with key internal and external business partners + Seek to understand the motivations, expectations, and mindsets of the adult learner + Discuss goals and outcomes and convert complex ideas or large volumes of information into simple language that others can relate to and understand + Apply instructional design expertise while adhering to a consistent adult learning content strategy + Write learning objectives and develop training modules that enable end users to learn and adopt changes, and ensures mastery of learning objectives, including but not limited to knowledge checks, exercises, interactive simulations, scripts, storyboards, or games + Experience with online learning platforms, learning management systems and content authoring tools (e.g. Lessonly) + Design blended learning solutions that maximize learning efficiency for global stakeholders + Ensure that content and learning experiences meet quality standards + Drive and track content development for multiple requirements within required timelines + In partnership with CMO's engagement and communication teams, evolve and operationalize new data driven insights, analytics, and change management reporting + Develop positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders through meetings, Teams/Slack chats, focus groups, etc. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in business, communications, learning and development, instructional design, organizational psychology, or related field + Experience and working knowledge of adult learning and instructional design methods, processes and tools + 5-7 years professional business experience in Instructional design, Adult learning theories and enduser training content development for one or more complex, global, transformational technologyprojects + Strong writing, speaking and interpersonal skills + Experienced track record of facilitation along with complex problem solving and decision making + Experience developing project plans, resource plans, and risk management plans + Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint andSharePoint + Excellent organizational skills + Collaborative team player with a results focus + Flexible approach and ability to quickly pivot as necessary to support urgent program needs + Experience providing data analytics, analysis, and reporting + Ability to quickly learn and willingness to use any required technology tools meant to support, streamline and track overall project and program change management and training efforts + Comfortable with ambiguity, changes in direction and priorities, in a fast-paced environment, large complex system implementations Preferred Qualifications + Experience in End User training development and delivery for a global ERP implementation, preferably SAP or S/4HANA + Experience or knowledge of change communication, training, and instructional design concepts + Knowledgeable and experience creating process design documentation + Ability to build business acumen quickly + General understanding of corporate finance + Experience working with a Change Management team The Ideal Candidate + Organized - Works and thinks in a methodical and orderly way + Results-driven - Acts proactively to achieve results. Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $82,900 and $143,000. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
