Stratasys is looking for a Data Analyst for our Finance department that will help provide support to the business to help make data-driven decisions. You will be involved in the support of the accounting team with month-end journal entries. A key point to this role is providing the analysis that helps impact the company's financial position. You will also analyze trends and assist in preparing quarterly and monthly sales, marketing, and other functions. A few other job duties will include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
Conduct data mining, gather business intelligence, and identify business drivers
Design and create standard reports and manage business intelligence tools.
Provide financial analysis and insights on ad hoc project basis for senior management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization in order to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.

Follows all company safety policies and procedures and attends all safety trainings related to the job.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics required
1-2 years professional experience required
Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query / data management tools extremely helpful (Sage, SQL, Essbase)
Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and work independently
High degree of dedication and initiative to enhance knowledge and skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple, competing tasks simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications: (would add value to the role): SQL, Salesforce, & PowerBI
Ability to work well with others.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Works in a pleasant office environment with other department staff, utilizing a computer workstation and various software applications. Specific work schedule is coordinated with direct supervisor.
This is a full-time professional-level position. Overtime can be expected during critical periods when it is necessary to meet a deadline. There may be occasional travel to manufacturing plants, subsidiary companies, or other job sites.
