Functions as a business systems administrator for one or more site-wide business systems. Identifies requirements, process improvements, and system configuration changes to support the Laboratory mission. Leads the evaluation and implementation of new functionality, new business processes, new systems, and the evaluation and incorporation of upgrades for all applicable business systems and may lead multiple projects simultaneously. Works with Financial Management and Procurement Services (FMPS) management on the development of long-range and short-term planning initiatives for applicable business systems, including all Workday modules, including Procurement. Responsible for supporting and maintaining cognizance of business systems and associated tools, applications, and interfaces through business analysis, specification, testing, installation, maintenance, and operations. Builds and maintains updated working knowledge and training on all systems and business processes, including those not directly under their purview, and providing creative and "best practice" solutions to FMPS managers for issues that arise. Works with Business and Information Services personnel, other system analysts, and functional leads as work is being completed for FMPS systems or needs and serves as a subject matter expert on financial and procurement matters relative to the systems employed. Trains and assists end users on system functionality as needed. Excels in a team-oriented environment.
Extensive knowledge of Laboratory business systems, including Workday Financials, PARIS, AMOS, XM Expense Management, and SCOAR
Exceptional knowledge of Laboratory financial and procurement business processes
Operational knowledge of policies and procedures for financial management within the Laboratory.
Experience developing and supporting financial and/or business systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
