Description

Experience and Skill Set Requirements - Legacy Novell (aka Attachmate, Micro Focus, OpenText) Open Enterprise Server (OES) Skills Required - Familiarity with both legacy Novell style Linux file servers and Windows Native services - Understanding of the functionality provided by Windows client for OES - Capable of interpreting login scripts - Familiar with the peculiarities of the NSS File system - Comfortable working with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) - Upgrades from prior versions of OES and SLES - Concepts of identity, data and permissions migration - Familiar with IDM capabilities (not necessarily how to configure just what it does) - Understands relevant Windows capabilities (Group Policy Objects, file shares, etc.)
