  • The Technology Business Operations team is a key partner for Paramount Tech in achieving its business objectives. The team works to foster operational efficiency, reduce risk, lead partnerships, improve reporting and analysis, and develop talent. The core team functions are the Project Management and Transformation Office, which handles large-scale projects across the organization, and drives change management, and reporting; The Technology Vendor and Asset Management, which leads all aspects of the optimization of technology resources and contracts, and risk and compliance to ensure the reliability and security of technology systems and processes; and the Office of the CTO, which drives global Technology Objectives and Key Results and coordinates operational communications, presentations, business reviews, leadership initiatives, and employee engagement activities.

This position will report to the EVP of Strategy and Operations and coordinate the planning and optimization activities for technology and operations across Paramount Global, ensuring alignment with our company's vision, mission, and values!

    Overview & Responsibilities

    • Monitor and optimize the performance of Paramount Global technology efforts, and proactively find opportunities to improve Paramount's growth, efficiency, and competitiveness.

    • Support the assessment and implementation of solutions that increase Paramount Techs competitive advantage while maintaining visibility into the return on investment for planned initiatives.

    • Collaborate with technology teams across the organization, as well as the EVP of Tech Business Operations, to own the execution of a technology roadmap, as well as ensure that technology investments and roadmap are in line with the overall business strategy and vision.

    • Develop and maintain leading practices and standards for long-range planning, budgeting, and governance across Paramount Tech, including working closely with our Technology Business Operations (TBO) leaders and finance partners to ensure cross-departmental financial understanding and accountability for technology spend. This work helps within the technology portfolio.

    • Collaborate to continuously evaluate and optimize the company's technology portfolio, which includes identifying redundant systems, underutilized resources, and areas for consolidation to improve efficiency and reduce costs using data-driven insights and methodologies.

    • Build a culture of continuous improvement that supports technology innovation.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 10+ years expertise working in technology planning, operations, or management consulting.

    • Bachelor's degree required. An advanced degree in Business Management or technology is a plus.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Exhibited track record in business analysis and planning.

    • Capability to work multi-functionally as a partner across all levels of an organization to bridge the gap between technology and business functions.

    • Broad understanding of technology and operations related to enterprise systems, cloud, and networking.

    • Understanding of technology financial planning and data to build return on investment analysis and deliver cost savings and business benefits.

    • Strong curiosity about technology and operations industry trends, and ability to apply this knowledge to inform strategic decisions.

    • Understanding of the media technology ecosystem.

    • Strong analytical skills used to interpret data and drive informed decision-making.

    • Superb communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Hiring Salary Range: $230,000.00 - 285,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
