    Job Description:

    GDIT has a Vice President, Strategic Initiatives opportunity available for a growth-minded, high-impact strategist. You will report directly to our Chief Growth Officer where you will support the strategic initiatives and priorities of the CGO, CTO and President. In addition, this role will support the design, build and development of a corporate strategy.

    HOW A STRATEGIC INITIATIVES VICE PRESIDENT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • Define the overall mandate, boundaries, services, and operating model for/of the corporate strategy function

    • Develop comprehensive strategic plans to advance GDIT's mission and objectives, and to drive revenue growth and profitability

    • Build and maintain consensus for that across the GDIT leadership team

    • Develop and lead GDIT through a long-range strategy development process that orients the company around a compelling "north star," generates an actionable corporate strategy, and fosters alignment among GDIT's leaders as to the future direc6on of the company

    • Lead or support the development of short- and mid-term strategies and business plans for key markets and functional areas

    • Support and as warranted, refine, GDIT's established annual and/or multi-year business planning processes and outputs (e.g., revenue forecasting, people growth)

    • Model the expected financial contributions of various strategies and plans

    • Lead strategic business reviews and planning sessions

    • Support M&A and similar corporate requirements

    • Develop and implement an approach for identifying, qualifying, and engaging with partner organizations, and support business unit efforts to enter or scale strategic partnerships

    • Devise and implement processes and mechanisms for identifying, qualifying, and acting on venture investment opportunities, and for identifying, qualifying, executing, and integrating acquisitions

    • Serve as strategy and business planning resource and service provider to GDIT's various businesses (e.g., help business leaders with all aspects of strategy and planning)

    • As appropriate, align GDIT's strategy and plans with GD parent company strategies, requirements, and investment theses

    • Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives to the GDIT Leadership Team

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    ? Education: Bachelor's Degree

    ? Required Experience: 10+ years of experience in a corporate strategy role, or as a strategy management consultant at a top tier consulting firm; prior experience in working with a senior executive team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies

    ? Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

    ? Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for expansion and innovation, and recommend new projects and partnerships

    • Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, and operations

    • A portfolio of successful strategic initiatives and business growth achievements

    • Outstanding leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders

    ? Preferred Skills: 15+ years of experience in a high-ranking strategic role, with a significant portion in government contracting/MBA or equivalent/ability to attract, hire and maintain a team of corporate strategy professionals

    The likely salary range for this position is $203,112 - $258,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
