Technical Delivery Master - Full Stack Software Engineer - TSP

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using TypeScript as the primary language

• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle

• Develop clean, efficient code based on specifications

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting for increased efficiency

• Conduct thorough code reviews and debug code as necessary

• Perform rigorous validation and verification testing to ensure performance and reliability

• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

• 8+ years working experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with a portfolio of projects where you are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions

• 6+ years extensive experience in developing web applications using TypeScript

• 6+ years working in multiple front-end languages (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript ES6) and libraries ( jQuery, React)

• 6+ years working experience with TypeScript on the server-side using ~~~

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, npm)

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

• 6+ years working experience with databases like (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) including creating schemas and optimizing queries

• 6+ years working experience with back-end languages (TypeScript, ~~~) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, ~~~)

• Familiarity with web servers (Apache, Nginx) and understanding of HTTP protocol and RESTful APIs

• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and ability to implement designs into interactive interfaces

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• Must be able to start by April 1st, 2024, if selected for hire

• Hybrid position, but must be willing to be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and flexible for additional days if needed.

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $126,000 to $210,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
