    Job Description

    Surety Account Manager Dale Barton Hub International is a Salt Lake City based Commercial Insurance and Surety Brokerage. We have a strong emphasis on serving the construction industry including all types of contracting companies including general contractors, trade contractors, specialty companies, and other companies requiring surety bonds. Our company is looking for a talented individual that is interested in a position with a dynamic 76-year-old insurance and bonding brokerage, Dale Barton, which is part of HUB International, a Top 5 International Insurance Broker.     Essential Job Functions

    The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work- related activities. It is required that this position actively supports Dale Barton HUB and all employees and customers in a positive manner.

    • To maintain a successful client and underwriter relationship.

    • To manage the renewal cycle and servicing of client accounts.

    • To understand suretyship and counsel clients in its application.

    • To analyze documents for surety requirements and risk exposures and obligations.

    • To analyze and understand bond forms.

    • To issue bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, license bonds and other bonds including a review and processing of bond riders.

    • To report, open, manage and close claims.

    • To review and check audits.

    • To obtain familiarity with online surety programs and company website portals.

    • To communicate professionally with others.

    • To bill all invoices accurately and timely.

    • To perform various other tasks associated with account management.

    • To perform such other duties as the managers and officers of Dale Barton HUB assign from time to time.

    • To show an ability to manage accounts with little or no producer oversight.

    • To demonstrate proficiency with Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Adobe and other related programs.
