Staff Accountant

The responsibilities of a Staff Accountant entail preparing journal entries, assist with monthly losings, bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.Based in the Glendale, California area, this company is offering a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity that's sure to challenge as well as reward effort.

What you get to do every single day

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

• Assist with month end close, journal entries, with little supervision

• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as needed

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

• Knowledgeable of ERP systems

• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
