    Job Summary

    We are seeking a proven Senior IT Project Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of complex projects within our organization. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. They will work closely with the executive team, project teams, and vendors to identify project goals and objectives, create project plans, and allocate resources. The Senior Project Manager will also monitor and control project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate project updates to relevant parties.

    The immediate priority of the Senior IT Project Manager will be to lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of our new ERP system within the manufacturing and distribution sectors. This includes leading the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP implementation projects from initiation through to completion and ensuring the ERP system is configured to meet the unique needs of the manufacturing and distribution sectors, including inventory management, supply chain planning, production scheduling, quote to cash, procure to pay, WMS, and financials.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing at least two ERP implementations, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional problem-solving skills. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes to ensure the ERP system is aligned with our business objectives, enhancing efficiency, and supporting our growth strategy.

    Key Responsibilities of Position

    • Lead the project teams and set clear goals and objectives for team members.

    • Develop full-scale project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk management, and budgeting in conjunction with External Implementation Partner.

    • Coordinate the efforts of internal teams and external consultants across various phases of the implementation process.

    • Manage the change process, including training staff and developing materials to ensure smooth adoption of the new system across the organization.

    • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.

    • Perform post-implementation reviews and assessments to ensure objectives have been met and to identify areas for improvement.

    • Develop and implement project management strategies, processes, and best practices.

    • Identify and secure resources for projects, including personnel, equipment, and funding.

    • Monitor and control project progress, including tracking progress against project plans and budgets.

    • Identify and mitigate risks to the successful completion of projects.

    • Communicate project updates and progress to relevant parties, including clients and stakeholders.

    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.

    • Provide leadership and mentorship to the project management team.

    • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

    • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on ERP implementation in the manufacturing and distribution space.

    • Strong understanding of ERP systems, with preference given to candidates with experience in Epicor's Prophet 21 on-prem solution (P21).

    • Strong understanding of ERP concepts of master data, transactional data, financial data.

    • An understanding of EDI at the business process level, not necessarily at the technical level.

    • Demonstrated experience with implementation of CRM systems.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving cross-functional teams.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Industry-specific knowledge is a plus.

    Working Conditions

    • This position will require travel to manufacturing and distribution sites for project assessment and implementation; and regular trips to the Pittsburgh, Pa Corporate Location

    • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
