You will work closely with a talented team of engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications that enhance the performance and safety of aircraft systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, test and implement software solutions that improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of integrated flight systems

    • Work with program engineering to coordinate integration of software solutions for commercial cockpit systems

    • Software architecture and coding

    • Feature Definition

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze customer requirements

    • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability

    • Verification and Validation

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering or Computer Science field

    • Software development experience using C/C++

    • 5+ years of experience in software development

    WE VALUE

    • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools

    • Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System

    • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.

    • Experience working with Embedded Products (with interactive User Interfaces a plus)

    • Experience with Avionics a plus but not required - experience in transferable industries i.e. Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, Industrial, etc

    • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of?complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.

    • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
