The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.     How you will make an impact

    • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

    • Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

    • Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

    • Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

    • Engage in various department-wide initiatives

    • Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

    • Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

    • Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

    • Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. Requirements - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

    • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

    • Good understanding of Sage Intacct

    • Wide ranging experience with Month-end Journal Entries

    • Year-end Financial Statements experience

    • Well-founded grasp of Monthly Bank Reconciliation

    • Skills in Excel Formulas

    • General familiarity with journal entries

    • Comprehension of Pivot Table

    • Financial auditing experience

    • Prepare Financial Statements experience required

    • Review Financial Statements experience

    • Quality experience with Ledger Journal Entries

    • Earlier work involving US GAAP

    • Experience with month end closings

    • Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel

    • Practical knowledge of Journal Entry Preparation

    • Experience with VLOOKUP

    • Proven knowledge of bank reconciliations

    • SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

    • Prior work done in public accounting is desired

    • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

    • Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

    • Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

    • Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

    • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

    • Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

    • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

    • Detailed and have the ability work independently

    • ERP system experience
