Sr Accountant

Description

As an Entry Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. You will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.

2. Ensure the accuracy of all financial documents and their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

3. Prepare tax returns and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time.

4. Evaluate financial operations, recommend best practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently.

5. Offer guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.

6. Conduct forecasting and risk analysis assessments.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

2. Proven experience in a senior accounting role.

3. Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (GAAP).

4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze figures.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7. High level of accuracy and efficiency.
