Duties: Work on Inverse Lithography Technology (ILT). Perform Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) and proper Sub-resolution Assist Feature (SRAF) placement given a desired wafer target. Complete optimization and gradients and computational geometry to enforce Mask Rule Checking (MRC) to ensure the resultant mask is manufacturable. Support ILT tool (pxOPC).

Requirements: The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a - Software Developer related occupation. The position requires experience in the following: Working with optimization algorithms to study the physical impact of edge diffraction on nearby edges; Placing edges for maximal lithographic fidelity; Computing gradients for edges/mask pixels for impact on lithographic objectives; Coding in C++; Performing Code Optimization (runtime) and memory optimization for processing full chip inverse lithography problems; Working with computational geometry for enforcement of MRC; Working with Sub-Resolution Assist Features (SRAF), their placement within a mask, and enforcement of placement restrictions; Working with physical models of lithography (optics, resist, etch, and 3d mask effects).
