Software Design Engineer 3

Job Description

This team is responsible for firmware and software development for surface devices, windows drivers development, and integration and build development for the next generation of surface devices. The team is working on embedded Firmware and Windows OS Drivers, growing window driver and window capabilities, and seeing what system is causing issues and creation resolutions.

This role will consist of 10% meetings, 20% coding, and 70% bug triaging and windows dump analysis.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience debugging on windows, windows driver framework, and/or UMDF (user mode device framework)

· 1+ year professional experience with debugging hardware/firmware/software interactions during board bring up

3+ years of experience with windows driver development Debugging in linux/android null
