JOB TITLE: Senior-Product Development Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Steet Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new and advanced network technologies by translating requirements and strategic business objectives into final product design. Work in

assessment of the networked application needs, providing network modeling, prototyping and simulation testing, and consulting to further clarify needs to deliver application functionality.

Perform network product engineering assignments including design, development, documentation and testing of network hardware, firmware, or software products or systems. Work in development of new products, enhancements, and modifications of existing products. Apply knowledge of discipline, specialty area standards, and processes. Integrate industry experience and deep professional and technical knowledge. Solve problems through evaluative judgment and existing precedent and apply analysis in evaluating issues. Develop new concepts,

methods, and techniques for cross-functional initiatives. Lead small to medium sized projects and technical breadth. Mentor and provide technical guidance and explain advanced concepts

to others in work area. Coordinate across multiple departments. Responsible for contributing to compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function including work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, and air emissions. Develop applications using various project methodologies including SAFe, Agile Scrum, and Waterfall. Apply experience in technology development. Lead multiple projects. Apply knowledge of IT architecture. Apply knowledge of Network Management Systems. Apply experience in software design and development. Apply knowledge in transport network technology including protocols, equipment, and services. Utilize technologies including Java, J2EE, AngularJS, Angular, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, Chai, Mocha, Golang, Kubernetes, DMaaP, Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, mongoDB, Oracle Database, and Azure. Apply knowledge with Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including SAFe, Agile Scrum, and Waterfall.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation applying experience in technology development; leading multiple projects; applying knowledge of IT architecture; applying knowledge of Network Management Systems; applying experience in software design and development; applying knowledge in transport network technology including protocols, equipment, and services; utilizing technologies including Java, J2EE, AngularJS, Angular, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, Chai, Mocha, Golang, Kubernetes, DMaaP, Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, mongoDB, Oracle Database, and Azure; and applying knowledge with Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including SAFe, Agile Scrum, and Waterfall.
