Senior Electrical Engineer

Description

• An exciting aerospace and defense company is hiring for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This candidates will engage in a broad range of electrical engineering activities as a member of a diverse, technical team working to design the next generation of satellite technologies & components.

• This person will need to be a swiss army knife of electrical engineers- digital, analog, and power design capabilities. Will need a deep understanding of circuits and power (EE engineering in general).

• Board level design and schematic capture, this is a design role not a layout group (this is done by a separate group).

• Enhancements/improvements to established designs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience

• Experience using Altium Design (or equivalent) for schematic capture / PCB layout

• Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments including one of aerospace, space, automotive, or medical industries- this includes designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) MIL-STD-461 or NASA GEVS GSFC-STD-7000
