    Job Summary

    The following position is to join the Raytheon Digital Portfolio Management team, which sits within the Digital Program Office. The Portfolio Management team's mission is to optimize value to the business by driving accountability through portfolio processes and governance.

    A successful candidate would join the team as a portfolio manager and will have the opportunity to drive various aspects of the Digital portfolio, with responsibilities overseeing intake, demand, and portfolio management (prioritization, issues, risks, resource management, value management). Collaborates across all of Raytheon Digital and other business units.

    This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

    Responsibilities to Anticipate

    • Manage and mature portfolio management processes, incorporating continuous improvement feedback, driving alignment with other groups and functions, and contributing to the strategic roadmap.

    • Facilitate work intake, prioritization, and evaluation. Ensure organizational adherence to defined portfolio processes.

    • Develop and analyze Digital-level portfolio metrics and reporting to create actionable insights for Digital leaders.

    • Coordinate portfolio operations, communication, change management, and learning to support awareness and adoption across Digital.

    • Support portfolio tool roll out and administration.

    • Travel 10% throughout the year, as needed.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years experience.

    • Experience managing projects and portfolios

    • Experience with stage-gate/phase-gate management processes, IPDS Gating, or Passports.

    • Experience summarizing and translating data into executive level presentations for decision making

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Portfolio management experience in a Digital or Information Technology capacity, especially in the aerospace and defense industry

    • Hands on knowledge and experience with MS suite, Planview

    • Experience with financial management, agile teams and execution, service portfolio management, and/or product management.

    • Experience managing portfolios utilizing Agile methodologies

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and lead change to executive level stakeholders

    • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

    The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
