  • Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Training Team Lead and Instructional Design Expert for a government client. This person will oversee the training team in designing, developing, and delivering new and updating existing training solutions. Training covers ITSM processes and Remedy Tool Suite functionality as implemented in the government customer environment making up a full ITSM process learning library that consists of the following:

    High-quality Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) 2004-Compliant self-paced computer-based simulation-style training (CBT) modules following Systems Approach to Training (SAT) methodology (the ADDIE model)

    Just in Time videos providing focused content in short narrational videos covering CBT content material.

    Quick Reference Guides and Job Aids

    Responsibilities

    Provides operational oversight and guidance to training developers in planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting on training development and achievements.

    Works directly with customer base and technical team in proactively addressing training development based on need and process/tool updates so that training remains current.

    Provides weekly and monthly reporting to leadership.

    Maintains and updates CBT, Video and reference guides end products.

    Maintains records for CMMI auditing standards.

    Maintains internal processes for training best practices.

    Designs and develops complex level interactive computer-based courseware for customer training.

    Oversees integrity of task analysis, training requirements, instructional materials, and evaluation plans.

    Converts complex level written materials and/or training requirements to interactive courseware.

    Develops flow diagrams and story boards. Designs instructionally sound complex level lessons in a variety of delivery media.

    Collaborates with customer and subject matter experts to oversee technical accuracy of instructional content.

    Develops and augments CBTs, videos, and reference documents.

    Works as a team leader on projects and is responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on time.

    Projects are typically moderately complex in nature, sometimes follow a repeatable framework, and require some analytical skills in creating real life scenario driven material.

    Creates detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports.

    Leads project meetings as needed and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

    Reviews work of other team members/developers to ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

    Skills and Requirements

    -Active Secret clearance

    -BA/BS Degree

    -10+ years experience as an instructional-training developer/engineer working on technical Government and/or large commercial projects

    -Adobe Captivate experience as the eLearning authoring tool

    -Experience using and/or training BMC Remedy and understanding how it aligns with ITIL null
