    Job Title: Safety Manager (ECM)

    Job Summary: ECM Holding Company has an opportunity for a Safety Manager in the Milwaukee, WI area. The Safety Manger will provide daily leadership and oversight into all aspects of the company's Safety Program efforts.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Visit company jobsites, conduct workplace inspections

    • Investigate all workplace injuries and vehicle Incident

    • Conduct training

    • Orientation

    • New Employee

    • Unique Project Obligations

    • Hazard Specific - Company specific training, other identified non-routine training such as; Confined Space, Fall Protection, Silica, etc...

    • Communicate with customers regarding site specific safety requirements

    • Participate in customer site meetings and safety walks

    • Complete prequalification documentation (Avetta, IS Net, etc.

    • Develop and update safety procedures for customer and regulatory compliance

    • Coordinate Safety Committee meetings and efforts

    • Enter information as required by EMCOR's internal reporting system including;

    • Workplace Injuries

    • NOV entries

    • Track training efforts

    • Enter Monthly labor-hours

    • Coordinate OSHA, EPA and MSHA regulatory compliance efforts. Participate in site inspections, hearings, and implementation of required corrective actions

    • Conduct/ Coordinate Industrial Hygiene efforts (we can assume this is higher, but only 1 person mentioned it)

    • Support Fleet Management as required

    • Tracking Vehicle Inspections

    • Review Driver Qualifications

    • Close out poor driving notifications

    • Support Business Continuity efforts as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • AS. / B.S. preferred, or equivalent experience required

    • Must currently hold or are willing to pursue a Board of Certified Safety Professionals credential such as CSP, SMS, ASP, CHST

    • Independent self-starter with experience operating independently with little day-to-day supervision

    • Ability to prioritize and manage competing needs across a decentralized organization

    • Understanding of basic OSHA requirements demonstrated by OSHA 30 or higher

    • Strong interpersonal, management, communication, writing, and organizational skills

    • Willingness to learn applicable health and safety regulations, new systems, and other pertinent information.

    • Ability to travel to area satellite offices, projects, and jobsites required (35%).

    • Must have current drivers license

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    General office or shop environment. The need to meet deadlines and coordinate with others may cause stress at times.
