Registered Nurse - Boise Heart Clinic, Watchman Team

We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Boise Heart Clinic outpatient Watchman team in Meridian/Boise !

The Watchman is a device utilized in a left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) procedure, which is designed to remove the need for long-term anticoagulants and reduce the risk of stroke in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation.

Our team runs one of the most successful LAAO programs in the nation and they are passionate about changing the lives of our patients for the better. We eagerly await an individual that shares this drive and desires to contribute to a collaborative work environment.

What you can expect from this role

• (4) nine-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, variable day off

• No weekends or holidays

• Sign on Bonus Available

• Participating in initial assessment and education of patients

• Organizing labs, imaging, and consulting visits for pre-operative clearance

• Facilitating communication with providers and facilities outside of the service line

• Conducting follow-up care for the patient's post-procedure success

• Monitoring and evaluating the program's progress regarding patient and program goals/outcomes

• Continued education/certification opportunities

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree

• Experience: 1 years' experience

• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Cardiology, Critical Care, and/or Case Management setting.
