    We are looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager - Transportation Sector to service the Southeast Region . This role works remotely and travels in a designated territory and will report to the National Sales Manager.

    This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us :

    The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving assigned regional sales and profitability plan and maintaining WBA's leading sector position through execution of project-specific direct sales activities to contractors, and influencing specification of products by interacting with owners, and engineers. This includes, but is not limited to, timely and accurate reporting of sales objectives, sales forecasting, sales planning, creating relationships with key influencers, and developing/maintaining account and business relationships with existing customers. This role will interface daily with buying customers, Cross Business Line Sales Representatives, and other sales channel partners, and coordinate with WBA Sales Management leadership.

    These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Civil/Structural Engineering

    • Demonstrated progressive growth in sales in commercial construction related companies with two (2) or more years of relevant experience. Previous experience in the bridge and/or tunnel market is preferred.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of the bridge and tunnel market.

    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications and demonstrated ability to use a customer relationship management system.

    • Accountable for sales and profit results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in assigned territory.

    • Incorporate modern marketing influencing techniques to gain attention and trust of key influencers and customers and leads execution of strategy.

    • Timely and accurate reporting of sales objectives, including forecasting, planning, strategic initiatives, account and business relationship development/management, pre-planning, post order account management and order closing fulfillment.

    • Demonstrated technical capabilities to provide product recommendations to consulting engineers and owners through presentations and written proposals.

    • A thorough understanding of contract documents, with ability to independently act and respond to technical inquiries.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and oral), including the ability to present information to groups of engineers, owners and customers.

    • Participation in local industry associations.

    • Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
