    The Member of Technical Staff discipline is part of a technical career program designed for employees who are working on new and emerging technologies AND who have made a significant commitment to their education by earning at least a 4-year degree in specified STEM areas.

    Key Roles, Responsibilities, Experience:

    • Conducts design and development work in the areas of new RAN products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, hardware/software development engineering, technical security and QA Design/Certification.

    • Experience with RAN technologies to include 5G evolution, cloud RAN, and ORAN.

    • Work must primarily involve new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity.

    • May serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering and development.

    • Responsibilities may also include test automation development.

    Education:

    • Experience: PhD in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

    Environmental Requirements:

    • This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

    Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earn between $180,200.00 - $270,400.00, USD, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
