Adecco's Permanent Recruitment team is assisting a large manufacturing company in Middlesex county, Connecticut. We are looking for experienced Quality Inspector. This is a full time direct hire

Position Title: Quality Inspector (1st OR 2nd shift)

Pay Rate Range: $20- $26/hr. depending on experience

Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift ( 7:00 am to 3:30 pm) 2nd shift (4:30 pm- 12:30 am)

Location: Portland, CT

$1500 Sign on Bonus

Responsibilities Include:

• Approves in-process and finished products by conducting visual and measurement tests and then returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.

• Working from purchase orders, special process certifications, operation sheets, blueprints, and other specifications, ensures that all parts and materials are in full compliance.

• Performs complex dimensional layout inspection to operation sheet/blueprint.

• Completes Inspection Method Sheets and verifies special process certifications to part specifications.

• Understands and complies with Standard Process Instructions

• Performs 1st piece/ First Article Inspection.

Experience:

• Layout experience is a plus

• 3-5 years' experience as an inspector

• Analyzing manufacturing methods and procedures

• GD & T skills highly emphasized

• Solid verbal and interpersonal skills, analytical and shop math skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• High School or Equivalent
