QC Inspector

Description:

2nd Shift Inspector 4/10 Monday-Thursday 2:30pm - 1:00am * 2 weeks of training during a swing shift, 12:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Thursday

Inspector will be measuring finished aerospace machined parts to make sure they were made based on client's qualifications and drawings. -Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products -Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations -Implement and improve quality control operating procedures -Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects -Participate in routine visual inspections -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields -Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing -Experience on Coordinate Measuring Machine preferred (PC-DMIS) -Strong attention to detail -Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience working as an inspector utilizing micrometers, travel routers, high gauges, camparators, pin gauges, thread gauges and other mechanical inspection tools.

Experience with blueprint reading and basic math abilities

Computer skills are required. Must have the ability to use Excel, Word & other Software to collect data.

Lift up to 40 lbs safely.
