  • Our client, a telecommunications infrastructure leader, is seeking a part time project planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and scheduling, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Gantt Charts and an understanding of project management methodologies which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Project Planner

    Location: Chatsworth, CA

    Pay Range: $51-$56.70/hr (30 hours per week)

    What's the Job?

    • Use Microsoft Project to create and maintain Gantt charts & project plans

    • Develop and define project goals and objectives for each project

    • Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools

    • Recommend and implement modifications to the schedule, tasks and resources to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones

    • Prepare and present regular internal project reports for management

    What's Needed?

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or 5+ years planning/scheduling experience. PMP certification is a plus

    • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, & project management

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and creating and maintaining Gantt charts

    • An attitude of perfection toward details of a project plan and gannt charts

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast paced environment
