Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager in the Pontiac, Michigan area. The project manager is going to be responsible for managing the expectations of the customer, management team, project executors, and supplier in the context of the project. They will be communicating with customer teams regarding progress, bottlenecks, planning, and contract variations at operational and management levels. They will also be responsible for:

* Directing a multidisciplinary, globally operating team/project team;

* Managing the expectations of the customer, management team, project executors and suppliers in the context of the project;

* Releasing order forms to purchasing;

* Following up on the project plan;

* Monitoring the quality requirements and quality policy;

* Ensuring customer satisfaction;

* Ensuring adequate solutions to bottlenecks in the realization of projects;

* Helping communicate company policy to employees;

* Authorization to sign in accordance with procedure.

* Drawing up the budgets for additional work received or to be received.

* Taking decisions to resolve bottlenecks and to prevent unwanted developments.

* Setting priorities based on the schedule (in consultation with the customer).

* Financial result of the project.

Skills and Requirements

* 8+ years of experience in automotive tooling

* Experience in automation and robotics as well as welding

* Customer and supplier interfacing

* Microsoft Projects null
