  • Summary

    The Project Manager is responsible for contract execution, maintaining the contract budget, compliance with contract performance objectives, and maintaining a favorable and cooperative relationship with customer stakeholders. The PM is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, and directing personnel performance. The PM directly manages a team of Site Managers who directly manage and supervise a geographically dispersed workforce including a large portion of the workforce represented by organized labor.

    Responsibilities

    • Administers instructions to security personnel assigned to the site and assures that all personnel are familiar with the facility and their duties.

    • Will promptly notify company senior management of all unusual, emergency, and/or significant situations/factors concerning security personnel at the site.

    • Will verify that all personnel receive and understand new, changed, or special instructions.

    • Conduct or support personnel investigations of potential wrongdoing and report findings to company senior management.

    • Is accountable for the proper use and maintenance of all issued company and government equipment and property.

    • Will accurately maintain all personnel records including local and state-required certifications, time and attendance, disciplinary actions, promotions, commendations, status/payroll change reports.

    • Manages staffing levels to ensure adherence to budget and compliance with contract technical requirements.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a BS/BA degree in a law enforcement-related discipline. Equivalent education/experience is acceptable.

    • Ten (10) years experience in security or law enforcement administrative and substantial operations experience in the armed forces, security, police, or civilian equivalent or related field, three (3) of which is at the supervisory level.

    • Three (3) years of progressively responsible general experience gained in analytical decision making and administrative work and activities.

    • Three (3) years of specialized experience directly related to the work performed in physical security or law enforcement.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge and/or experience in project management and business rules.

    • Knowledgeable in the application of intrusion detection devices and electronic security systems.

    • Must know a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, Microsoft Office Suite (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

    • Strong personnel management skills; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

    • Superior knowledge, analytical, persuasion, and problem-solving skills relative to health, safety, environmental, and business matters.

    • Ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks simultaneously.

    • Capable of assimilating and critically evaluating information.
