Project Engineer

Actively hiring a Project Engineer to support turnarounds and capex project for a local refinery in Ohio. Will help provide the following responsibilities on the project:

• Delivery of project engineering scopes

• Deliver moderate to large sized tank work packages for capital projects. Achieving safe and cost effective solutions.

• Assists with development of equipment and material bid specification, bid evaluation and selection.

• Manages wide variety of simultaneous tank projects with competing priorities in various execution phases across multiple manufacturing processes in the refining complex.

• Supports Project Manager and Project Controls team on estimating, budgeting and scheduling activities associated with engineering phases.

• Assists Project Manager in development of project documentation, PEP, PQP, PSCM etc.

• Ensures delivery of specified equipment by facilitating shop inspections and factory acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, (Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum) or a related field

• 8+ years of relevant experience, or alternatively 8+ years proven experience in similar Project Engineer roles.

• Chartered/Profession Engineer Status or related Project (PMP or PMQ) Accreditation. Must have previous engineering delivery experience in tank related projects.

• Working knowledge of design and manufacture of tank systems.

• Extensive experience in effective and efficient Project Management procedures.

• Experience with drafting proposals/quotes/bids

• Demonstrated performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and other related systems.
