Project Delivery Specialist - Oracle DBA - TSP

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• You will be working with our project team and client with installing Oracle software and creating Oracle databases

• Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels

• Starting up and shutting down the database

• Managing the database's storage structures and users and security

• Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and view

• Making database backups and performing recovery when necessary

• Working with the MVC architecture, and Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JSPs, servlets

• Working with RDBMS: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL

• You will also be working with JPA, writing queries using Mongo Template, SpringJDBC Template, Hibernate XML mappings

• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

• Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

• Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

• 6 years' experience as an Oracle DBA administrator

• 6 years' experience with RDBMS: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL

• 6 years' experience of Oracle with the ability to efficiently utilize Oracle tools to handle data and control privileges

• 6 years' experience of scripting, with a solid understanding of script writing, tuning and optimization

• 6 years' experience with Oracle, Middleware, Unix support including managing, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
