    About the role:

    We are looking for Program Manager to own the development and implementation of strategies that enhance the inclusion, development, and utilization of local, small, and diverse businesses. In this team, you will help to ensure that our sourcing standards enhance the sustainability of our operations while improving social conditions in our supply chain and communities. Join us!

    Responsibilities:

    • This role will support global program functions, and US expansion priorities.

    • Translate strategic objectives into projects and program roadmaps to realize distinct and measurable benefits for the organization.

    • Lead projects and programs using an organized and results-focused approach to achieve goals within budget, timeline, and scope constraints.

    • Drive continuous improvement, with a focus on end-to-end systems, processes, and tools that enable execution of Micron's goals.

    • Recommend ecosystem-relevant strategies to support the greatest possible access, visibility, and participation of diverse businesses in contracting opportunities.

    • Regularly report on project status, manage risks, and implement solutions to ensure project success.

    • Act as a subject matter expert on certification frameworks; end-to-end procurement processes, policies, tools and systems.

    • Provide technical assistance to internal and external parties.

    • Act as a liaison between prospective suppliers and procurement teams.

    • Establish relationships with non-profit organizations, community partners, and other relevant groups to advance Micron's supplier diversity aims.

    • Serve as a trusted partner to procurement category teams; provide sourcing support as needed.

    • Advocate for diverse business enterprises in contracting opportunities.

    • Meet regularly with prospective suppliers to answer questions, share information, and get feedback to inform and improve initiatives.

    • Represent Micron in external forums, including panels, roundtables, and other outreach activities.

    • Educate potential bidders on requirements; serve as the main point of contact for related questions.

    • Provide training internally and externally on supplier diversity policies, procedures, and best-practices.

    • Lead programs and projects to support planned US site expansions.

    • Solicit, review and track compliance of diverse business utilization and commitments.

    • Develop relationships with diverse suppliers to enhance collaboration and inclusion in procurement opportunities. Scope development and mentorship opportunities.

    • Formulate and maintain organizational policies to reflect best-practices and regulatory standards. Conduct research and benchmarking to develop solutions and improve the effectiveness of the overall program.

    • Lead and improve existing initiatives and processes, including but not limited to: the Global Champions Network, tier 1 and tier 2 spend projections, prospective supplier intake process, internal directories and data sources, 3rd party memberships and tools, dashboard development and maintenance, and other special projects.

    The ideal candidate:

    • Has strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective initiatives, programs, systems, and processes.

    • Expertly uses data to inform strategies and make decisions.

    • Is well-versed in project and program management methodologies and frameworks.

    • Has experience working in corporate, global procurement.

    • Is an excellent communicator, able to convey complex concepts in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.

    • Leads through influence with cross-functional team members at all levels.

    • Is agile in adopting new tools and ways of working to improve business outcomes.

    • Able to lead without authority and collaborate with an inclusive approach across geographical and organizational cultures to achieve collective success for Micron.

    • Is self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working in a global, fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Required

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Finance, Sustainability, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

    • At least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in supplier diversity and inclusion or related roles

    • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management or related.

    • Experience in external facing roles, such as community engagement or community relations.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

    • Program management experience.

    • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft O365 (such as MS Office Excel Intermediate analytical skills using functions such as Macro, Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot and Expose Formula's)

    Preferred

    • Strong understanding of sustainable procurement strategies, and emerging topics and trends in ESG

    • Semiconductor industry experience a plus.

    • Experience working with a large, global company.

    • Globally recognized certifications like CPSD, PMP, MOS, or PROSCI

    • Proficient in SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, MS Project, Visio, or equivalent
