    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Program Management team within COO Finance, providing strategic project support to cross-functional, Go-to-Market, and Worldwide Field Operations teams.

    In this role, you are a team player who possesses strong people, analytical skills, process design experience, and enjoys solving complex business problems. To be successful, you will collaborate across multiple teams and explain complex concepts. You will determine what steps, people, dependencies, and deliverables are needed to achieve each milestone. You are someone who excels in a dynamic environment, is proactive and curious, and possesses the experience to work independently in complex environments.

    You will report to the Manager, PMO under the COO Finance organization and will partner with Sales Finance Directors, Finance Business Partners, Sales Operations, technical teams and workstream leads, and fellow program management counterparts, all driving towards parallel goals. We support fully remote work and are looking for candidates based in the United States.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage program scope, milestones, plan, and regular project status dashboards, ensuring documentation is maintained

    • Facilitate and drive project priorities and deliverables

    • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans; remove barriers and escalation to resolution when needed

    • Establish communication plan among internal partners, teams, and leadership

    • Breakdown business process and deliverables into steps and define roles and responsibilities for each step and deliverable

    • Partner with internal stakeholders by guiding the implementation of optimal workflows for a project

    • Conduct project retrospectives with teams to improve future project effectiveness

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS or equivalent work experience

    • 4+ years of experience in program/project management in a high-technology environment

    • Experienced with project management tools; knowledge of Smartsheet

    • Experience working in a matrixed, dynamic organization

    • Positive and highly diligent; anticipate next steps

    • Strong project risk management skills; develop mitigation and contingency plans

    • Inspire trust while holding self and project team accountable

    • Enjoy working as part of a global team

    • Build rapport with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and business partners

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $114,700 and $185,570. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
