    About the role:

    As a Process Engineer for our Chemical Supplies business, you will help drive and own continual improvement projects to increase productivity and Quality in a Lean manufacturing environment.

    This on-site position will work closely with the Supplies manufacturing team. This close-knit team will work closely with each other to provide our customers excellent products and our associates an excellent and safe work environment.

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Supports manufacturing process by driving continuous improvement for safety, quality, delivery and cost through troubleshooting and effective problem-solving analysis but not overlooking the utilization of lean manufacturing principles.

    • Drives process control in manufacturing for sustainability in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Compiles data, establishes regular communication of data, and facilitates action plans while maintaining quality standards.

    • Project management - Manage in sourcing/outsourcing projects, capital equipment projects which includes managing internal and external resources for all aspects of a project. Inclusive of new product production builds in reviewing new product designs and developing fixturing and tooling to support successful new product launches.

    • Through the process of formal and informal production audits/ operator feedback and data analysis, recognizes quality concerns and addresses them by developing and implementing a sustainable solution that can be tracked by quantifiable results.

    • Provide Manufacturing Engineering expertise for day-to-day activities as well as all new product developments to ensure repeatability and reproducibility of production equipment, processes, testing and measurement and analytical equipment.

    • Supply expertise in mechanical Engineering to support CAD/Pro-E drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

    • Oversee manufacturing fixture design while maintaining ownership for equipment purchase/preventative maintenance and leads process/equipment troubleshooting.

    • Manages plant layout and material flow.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelors of Science in Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required

    • Experience with ISO requirements.

    • 1 - 3 years of applicable work experience.

    • Lean experience preferred.

    • Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience a plus

    • CAD / Pro-E
