Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced First Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join the Department of Cardiology specializing in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, located in Plano, Texas.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday

• No floor or clinic duties - OR only

• First Assist

o Must have experience in vein harvesting

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited program

• NPs must have: RNFA certifications

• Cardiology and OR experience required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) OR the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)

• Unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) CNP license, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer.
