Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Printing Press Operator/Production Assistant to join a nonprofit organization in Seattle, WA . As a Part-time Print Production Specialist Machine Operator/Production Assistant, you will be responsible for operating an industrial Canon Printer C-710 Fiery machine and ensuring high-quality print production. Your expertise in determining the proper custom paper for print jobs and running print jobs using Fiery software will be crucial in delivering exceptional results. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering an opportunity to make a positive impact in our community.

Job Specifications:

- Job Type: Part-time (20 to 24 hours per week)

- Location: Seattle, WA

- Pay Rate: $27 to $30 per hour

- Shift: Flexible, 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)-Flexible on days on times

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate an industrial Canon Printer C-710 Fiery machine to produce high-quality prints

• Determine the appropriate custom paper for print jobs to achieve desired results

• Run print jobs using Fiery software , ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Collaborate with the marketing communications team and graphic designer to meet project requirements

• Assist other team members in gaining confidence and proficiency in operating the printing machine

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the machine is in optimal condition

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications & Skills:

- Previous experience operating a Canon C710 printer and familiarity with Duplo machine and Morgana trimme r

• Proficiency in using Fiery software for print production

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality prints

• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the printing process

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Good time management skills to meet project deadlines

• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
