Painter Helper / Shop Helper

Aerotek is seeking Paint Helpers for a Fabrication Sheet Metal Company in Poway, CA. Must have at least 6 months of painting experience for this position.

Overview:

• Location: Poway

• Pay: $18/hr

• Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Job Description:

Working a manufacturing/machine shop environment. Will start out as a laborer and eventually will be learning how to mix paints, deburr parts, and operate ship equipment. Good place to get your foot in the door!

• Stacks parts on a pallet without instruction.

• Inspects own work for conformance to meet quality requirements.

• Completes production documentation and related paperwork.

• Keep all work areas clean and organized.

• Daily and weekly maintenance on all machines.

• Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.

• Technical support or help another team member, if necessary, under supervision of supervisor.

• Commitment to all safety policies and regulations always.

• Maintain workstation to 5S standards.

• Other duties may be assigned by lead or Supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 months -1 year of painting experience

• Must have experience in manufacturing ideally a machine shop environment

• Lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to perform multiple tasks throughout the day

• Use of grinders, pallet jacks. willing to learn forklift is a plus!
