Description
We are offering a unique opportunity for an Operations Specialist in the professional services industry, located in Chicago, Illinois. This role is set within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and offers a contract employment opportunity. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for a range of duties related to facilities coordination and management. Note: this role does require a drug test and background check for consideration.
Oversee and manage facilities operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address facilities-related needs and issues
Implement and maintain facilities management processes and procedures
Manage and resolve facilities-related inquiries and issues in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace
Monitor the condition of the facilities and arrange for routine maintenance or repairs as needed
Assist in the planning and execution of office moves or reconfigurations
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure facilities needs are met to the highest standard
Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-effective policies and procedures for all operational areas
Act as a point of contact for any facilities-related emergencies or disruptions, coordinating responses and solutions effectively.
Requirements
Proficient in facilities coordination and management OR experienced in catering and customer service
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Proactive and efficient problem-solving skills
Experience in operations within the professional services industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of attention to detail
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
Proficient in the use of computer systems and software relevant to facilities management
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to handle emergency situations effectively and calmly
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and work demands
Relevant certification or qualification in facilities management or a related field is a plus.
