    The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

    The Analyst role within the OFAC QA function is responsible for executing independent, objective assurance and consulting activities designed to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Bank's governance, risk management and control processes. It reports to a VP. This role includes, but is not limited to, execution of end-to-end reporting across multiple lines of business and independently owning project deliverables across the organization.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain compliance with audit methodology, while also operating within industry best practices, applicable regulations, and internal and external professional practice expectations.

    • Conduct data sourcing, sampling, testing, and reporting on sanctions screening and alert review control processes performed in the AMERICAS region to ensure controls/ standards are met.

    • Prepare testing workbooks inclusive of all required scoring elements. Input detailed workbooks that document the accuracy, completeness, documentation, and timeliness of the work performed on the sanction control processes.

    • Identify key issues and gaps in the process that impact quality and accuracy. Provide results/metrics required for QA report to management.

    • Provide initial QA test results to process owner. for calibration. Provide feedback and directly engaging process owners to identify opportunities for improvement.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 1 year of experience working in sanctions related investigations and/or advisory capacity preferred but not mandatory.

    • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork.

    • The ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, including Bank staff, management, and consultants.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Ability to work autonomously and initiate and prioritize own work.

    • Work collaboratively across functional teams within GFCD to ensure effective and efficient operations with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.

    • Proficiency in Excel and the use of sampling techniques and tools."

    The typical base pay range for this role is between $60K-$78K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
