    This acacdemic OBGYN position with Dignity Health Medical Group is located in the Phoenix metro suburb of Gilbert, AZ . This employed position is intended to function as core clinical faculty for an anticipated new ACGME acredited OBGYN residency program. Gilbert, AZ, is a vibrant and family-friendly town situated in the southeast part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Boasting a desert climate with abundant sunshine, Gilbert offers residents approximately 300 days of clear skies each year.     Responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include

    • Full scope OBGYN services including: deliveries, antepartum and intrapartum care. Along with annual examinations, gynecological surgery, contraceptive care and hormonal replacement.

    • Candidates should be interested in educating residents in OBGYN, as well as rotating residents from Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

    • Research or scholarly activities are expected with .2 FTE carve out for teaching and academics

    • In house call is 1:8

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

    • MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification or Board Eligible

    • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure

    • Completed ACGME Residency training

    • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

    • Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and under privileged

    Pay Range

    $218.27-$293.30 /hour
