    Practice Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group that has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a newly established Infectious Disease department on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center-Boise campus. It's a team consisting of 4.0 FTE physicians. This role will help build our new Infectious Disease service with an outpatient clinic located on the Boise hospital campus. Join our growing Provider team and excellent support staff. We utilize EPIC EHR.

    Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: direct involvement in managing our list of OPAT patients, conduct follow-up evaluations for patients referred for Infectious Disease management; follow-through on physician's plan of care; order & interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and labs; prescribe appropriate treatment and conduct patient education; provide assistance in clinic phone triage and referral triage; assist in prescription refills and general clinic coverage when other providers are not in clinic.

    In the Treasure Valley, you're minutes away from skiing at Bogus Basin, fishing the Boise River, hiking the foothill trails, rafting a number of nearby rivers, and biking both road and mountain routes.

    Requirements :

    • Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level)AANP or ANCC certification for Nurse Practitioners

    • NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants

    • Current, unrestricted license in Idaho

    • Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA

    • 2 years of experience in Infectious Disease preferred, not required
