This position expects to operate in a team environment as well as independently. The Network Administrator is responsible for managing the local and/or wide area network, also installs, evaluates, develops, maintains, and monitors the network at WTNB. This position is responsible for providing help desk support, administering various networks used within the bank, providing support for bank applications, and providing needed IT knowledge for various projects. This position requires a customer-focused mindset, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. A willingness to provide on-call support during certain time periods is necessary as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Help Desk Support

Address and resolve IT help desk tickets

Create and assure security and functionality of employee email accounts and other employee application needs

Network and Application Administration

Create new user accounts for network and other IT applications and services

Assist employees with remote access issues, providing in-person support as needed

Maintain access and usability of printer network

Equip desktop and laptop hardware and software for end users

Review and approve IT Control Reports

Maintain active directory group policy settings

Bank Application Support

Check for new ancillary updates that are required for software the bank's computers have installed, and download available updates in PDQdeploy, schedule updates to install on each PC that requires the updates.

Download and implement upgrades of existing software systems that support accounting, banking, internal communications, compliance, and risk reporting systems

Maintain and respond to issues surrounding cash dispensing systems

Upkeep of internal employee intranet systems

Project Work

Support additional projects as needed

Requirements

Network Administration, Hardware & Software Installation, Active Directory, Software Deployment

Qualifications

Four years or more experience in Network Administration at a mid- to large- sized organization is preferred

Strong knowledge of network functionality and interactions with various systems

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working on projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adapting to changing priorities.
