    We are seeking to hire an ED Nurse Manager for our Nampa Emergency Department!

    Located off Garrity Blvd, just south of I-84. Saint Alphonsus Nampa offers emergency and specialist care for the greater Nampa community.

    ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: Our trauma network reaches from southern Idaho, eastern Oregon and northern Nevada and has brought a level of medical responsiveness that is unmatched throughout the region. Not only do we provide the hospital resources necessary for care, but we focus on the needs of all injured patients from pre-hospital and on-scene care provided by first responders all the way through a patient's rehabilitation and successful return back to their community.

    As the ED Nurse Manager, you would assume direct responsibility for coordinating and supervising the Emergency Departments. This is inclusive of financial responsibility, departmental performance, performance management, and quality improvement programs. You would identify all customer groups, assesses their needs, and coordinates department to successfully achieve service line objectives. And you would assist the Director in policy / procedure development and monitoring, multi-disciplinary business planning and program growth development.

    General Requirements :

    • 5 years nursing experience in acute care required; 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

    License/Certification:

    • Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.

    • All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within six months of the hire date.

    • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

    • Must obtain ACLS within six months of the hire date.

    • Must obtain PALS within six months of the hire date.
