  • We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in NYC/Long Island! This is an excellent opportunity for growth with a chance to become a partner down the line, as well as the chance to work on a variety of multiple exciting projects.

    Job Description

    • Design of electrical systems under the guidance of a professional engineer including: electrical distribution, grounding, back-up power, general power distribution, lighting design and control as well as fire alarm and lightning protection systems.

    • Perform system design calculations and analyze electrical distribution options under the guidance of a Senior Engineer

    • Review and learn relative building codes and standards.

    • Prepare design documents to detail the power, lighting and fire alarm systems drawing

    • Coordinate work with architect and engineers of other disciplines.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ Years of experience as Electrical Engineer

    • Proficient in AutoCAD, with some revit experience

    • Experience designing electrical distribution, grounding, back-up power, general power distribution, lighting design and control as well as fire alarm and lightning protection systems

    • Project type experience include healthcare, data centers, central plants, municipals, etc...This person needs experience with Infrastructure projects
