    The Fairview Clinic in Rogers is on of our smaller locations with 4 specialties and 11 providers. This clinic offers care for the entire family and staff at this location get to watch patients grow as we have patients for many years. Located in the outmost ring of the Twin Cities Suburbs, the Rogers Clinic offers the small town feel with many of the metro amenities!

    Responsibilities Job Description

    As a member of the patients care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/support network. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

    Medical Assistants and Fairview deliver care as delegated by the patients Physicians, or RN. They are able to prioritize work based on need, available resources, patient's preferences, provider schedule, and work in collaboration with the physician/authorized practitioner as well as other health care team members. The MA may also perform high, and low risk, technical procedures during their daily work which could include: medication administration, assistance with CPR, assistance with procedures which may include lab draws

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN

    • Basic Life Support Certification

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Ambulatory Care Experience

    • AAMA Certification
