Mechanical Assembly Technician

Now hiring for Assembly Technicians in Chattanooga Tennessee.

We are a small mechanic shop and we specialize in up fitting custom mechanical service trucks for the electrical and railroad industries. Employees will assemble aftermarket and mechanical components using hand tools. Candidates should have experience in automotive work or equipment assembly related roles. Experience assembling lawn equipment, tractors, vehicles, heavy equipment, etc. Employees install basic 12 volt electrical equipment like headlights, tail lights, etc. Experience with assembly using hand tools, grinding, saw operations, reading blueprints or schematics, tape measure is all beneficial!

Description:

Job Description: Assembly of mechanical components (racks, lifts, brush guards, tires, bumpers, lights, hydraulics) and customization of service trucks.

Pay:

$21-$23 starting pay rate based on experience level. Top out pay for a shop role with no leadership responsibilities is going to be around $30-$32 per hour.

Shifts:

1st Shift: 6am - 4:30pm (Monday through Thursday. Overtime is voluntary and no weekend work).
